Virtuozzo is developed by Swsoft, this powerful software allows people to handle their VPS?s exactly like dedicated servers. It has many inbuilt features through that you could do just about anything. Swsoft uses a unique technology different then others. It allows users to use “Burstable RAM”. “Burstable RAM” is a technology supported by swsoft.This ability makes Virtuozzo very flexible.
Vmware:: Vmware is another leading VPS control panel in the web sector. It provides exactly same features provided by Virtuozzo, only “Burstable RAM” technology is not supported on Vmware. However it supports technology called “Multi-OS”. “Multi-OS” in other terms means, “Multi-Based Operating System”. With the help of Vmware you can easily install more than one operating system working on the same server. This is Muti-OS technology helps companies to reduce costs by not having to purchase different server for different operating systems.
Xen:: Xen virtualization software is still underdevelopment. However it is very popular and many companies have already adopted this VPS control panel because of it’s great efficiency in limiting the amount of system resources used.Generally a VPS control panels utilze high resources when running on a server. But as Xen uses different technique of resource management it has the same features provided by Virtuozzo except “Burstable RAM” technology and yet does not consume as much resources.As it is still under development so there are a few bugs that need to be addressed and improvements that need to be made.
